Cozy Shoulder Cozy!

It's been ages since I've posted anything! I'll try to get caught up on everything I've finished the last little while, starting with this really lovely shoulder cozy... it feels like an odd name to me but I guess that's exactly what it is!

I used 2 balls of the BC Garn Semilla held double with some Petit Mohair from Bettaknit . It was a really fast knit as the pattern calls for 9mm needles and the result is a lovely open and light stitch. You can loop it around to wear as a cowl if you like or throw it on over a dress or even a light jacket if you need a little extra something. 

I started 2023 in a real garter stitch frenzy... it just felt so good to sit and knit but not have to fuss too much about anything complicated. Since this is knit in the round, it did involve some purling, but it really was soothing to knit. 

I also really enjoyed revisiting a Churchmouse pattern. When I first opened my shop I carried a whole range of their lovely patterns and I still have a few left that I might list for free one of these days. My Mom really loves their Go To Cardigan pattern.
