Twists and Turns Westknits KAL 2022
I'm a huge fan of Holst Garn and I've knit several sweaters in Supersoft... the range of colours is just so awesome, and lately I'm more and more drawn to pure wools and the "rustic" texture. Superwash has it's place for sure, but I love how non super wash yarns keep their shape and how much more environmentally friendly they are.
So I was thrilled to see the upcoming Stephen West knitalong suggest the Holst Supersoft as an option. Westknit KAL's are really fun and this year looks to be one of the best with all the video support. You can look at the Ravelry details here.
I've only done a few mystery knitalongs, mainly because I find it next to impossible to choose colours when you don't know how they will be used... but I've had so much fun putting together options from the Supersoft, that I just might jump in!
Geranium, Navy Heather and Dried Plaster
Flannel Grey, Silver Grey and Ecru
Burnt Orange, Cinnamon and Oatmeal
I've got 3.5mm needles in 100cm on order in both Chiaogoo Stainless Steel and bamboo from Kinki Amibari.
If you're diving into the KAL, have fun!
